At the top of a high-rise building in Seoul, Gi-hun, Sang-woo, Ji-young, and Jun-ho were gathered in a spacious conference room.
The city lights outside twinkled like stars, but the atmosphere inside was heavy.

"We've come this far,"
Gi-hun began.
His face showed both fatigue and determination.
"Now the question is how we reveal the truth to the world."
Sang-woo nodded.
"But we need to be careful.
We should first verify the authenticity of the information we have."
Ji-young spoke with an anxious expression.
"That's right. It's hard to assume everything the Front Man told us is true."
Jun-ho, rifling through documents on the table, said,
"I agree. There are contradictions between what we've seen, heard, and experienced."
Gi-hun heaved a deep sigh.
Scenes from the past games flashed through his mind:
the slaughter in the 'Red Light, Green Light' game, the terror in the mirror maze, and the final moment of choice.
"We need to uncover the truth,"
Gi-hun said resolutely.
"That's why we survived."
Suddenly, Sang-woo stood up.
"Wait, something's off."
He approached the window and carefully scanned outside.
"I think we're being watched."

Everyone's tension heightened.
Jun-ho quickly turned off the lights and signaled everyone to get down.
"What's going on?"
Ji-young asked in a trembling voice.
Gi-hun slowly approached the window.
His eyes widened.
"There... there's someone on the roof of that building."
Everyone held their breath and looked in that direction.
A faint silhouette, and something that seemed to be aimed at them.
"Duck!"
With Jun-ho's shout, everyone hit the floor.

At that moment, the window shattered, and gunshots rang out.
"Is everyone okay?"
Gi-hun shouted.
Fortunately, no one was hurt.
But they now clearly knew they were in danger.
"We need to get out of here quickly,"
Sang-woo said.
They quickly left the conference room and headed for the emergency stairs.
Footsteps echoed up the stairwell.
"Who's after us?"
Ji-young asked, breathing heavily.
"Probably the game organizers,"
Gi-hun answered.
"They're trying to stop us from revealing the truth."
When they reached the first floor, Jun-ho suddenly stopped.
"Wait, something's strange. It's too quiet."
As they opened the door, an astonishing sight unfolded.
The streets were completely empty, silent like a ghost town.
"What's this...?"
Gi-hun muttered.
Suddenly, the same video appeared on all the electronic billboards in the street. It was the Front Man's face.

"Welcome, everyone,"
his voice echoed throughout the street.
"You are now participating in a new game. A game called 'Truth and Lies'."
Gi-hun and his companions were shocked.
They were still inside the game.
"The rules of this game are simple,"
the Front Man continued.
"Some of the 'truths' you think you know are lies.
And some of the things you thought were lies are truths.
You have 48 hours to distinguish between truth and lies.
If you fail... well, I'll leave that to your imagination."
As the video ended, the street fell silent again.
Gi-hun, Sang-woo, Ji-young, and Jun-ho looked at each other.
Their eyes were a mix of confusion, fear, and determination.
"What should we do?"
Ji-young asked in a trembling voice.
Gi-hun took a deep breath.

"We need to review everything we know. From start to finish."
They entered an empty cafe and settled in.
Sang-woo took out his laptop and started organizing the information they had so far.
"Let's start with the purpose of the game,"
Gi-hun said.
"We thought this wasn't just a survival game, but a test of human choices."
Jun-ho nodded.
"Right. But is that the truth, or were we manipulated to believe that?"
Suddenly, Sang-woo looked up.
"Wait, something's strange. From when we first met until now, everything seems too perfectly arranged."
Ji-young's eyes widened.
"Now that you mention it, you're right. It's as if someone guided us to this point."
Gi-hun fell into thought for a moment, then said,
"Then... one of us could be part of the game."
For a moment, everyone looked at each other with suspicious eyes.
Tension filled the air.
"No,"
Ji-young said firmly.
"We need to trust each other. That's exactly what they want. They're trying to divide us."
Gi-hun nodded.
"You're right. We need to stick together. But at the same time, we need to consider all possibilities."
They spent the night analyzing information and discussing.
Sometimes fierce debates broke out, but they continued to try to get closer to the truth.
As dawn approached, Sang-woo suddenly shouted,

"I found it! Look at this!"
Everyone peered at Sang-woo's laptop screen.
There were complex codes listed.
"What is this?"
Jun-ho asked.
Sang-woo's eyes shone.
"This is the game's core algorithm. I accidentally discovered it in the last game.
If we analyze this, we can find out the truth about the game."
Gi-hun spoke excitedly.
"Amazing, Sang-woo! Now we have hope."

However, at that moment, suddenly all electronic devices turned off.
The cafe lights flickered and then went completely dark.
"What's happening?"
Ji-young asked in surprise.
Gi-hun quickly scanned the surroundings.
"This... might be a trap."
Just then, the cafe's TV turned on by itself.
The Front Man appeared on the screen.
"Congratulations, everyone,"
he said.
"You've taken a step closer to the core of the game. But be careful. The truth can sometimes be the most dangerous weapon."
As the screen turned off, footsteps could be heard from outside the cafe.
Someone was approaching.
Gi-hun made a quick decision.
"Everyone, let's go out the back door. Right now."
They hurriedly left the cafe.
As they came out onto the street, an astonishing sight unfolded.
The entire city had transformed into a giant game board.
"What do we do now?"
Ji-young asked in a trembling voice.
Gi-hun answered with a resolute expression.

"We need to keep moving forward. Towards the truth. That's the only way we can survive."
They held each other's hands.
They didn't know what dangers lay ahead, but they believed that together, they could overcome any difficulty.
As they stepped towards the maze-like streets of the city, Part 5 "Truth and Lies" enters a new phase.
In a world where truth and lies are intertwined, what results will their choices bring...
The answer was still in unknown territory.
